As part of the relicensing process, Alcoa-Yadkin has established a Public Reference Room at the Penta Building at 48 Falls Road in Badin, N.C. The space will be open to the public by appointment. The Penta Building is located at the corner of Falls Road and Walnut Street, across the street from the Badin Post Office. The Public Reference Room includes, among other items, the Initial Consultation Document, copies of written correspondence, meeting notices, meeting agendas, meeting summaries, study plans, and study reports. An index of documents is available to help you determine what documents are located in the Public Reference Room and in which files. Scheduling an Appointment To schedule an appointment to visit the Public Reference Room, please contact Gene Ellis by telephone at (704) 422-5606 or by email. Appointments will be available during regular business hours only. Use of the Public Reference Room When visiting the Public Reference Room, you will be asked to provide your name, address, phone number, email, and organization you represent, if any. If you would like copies of any of the documents in the Public Reference Room, you must complete a "Request for Copies of Documents". For smaller requests, Alcoa-Yadkin will attempt to provide you with the requested copies during your appointment. If a copying request is significant, Alcoa-Yadkin may elect to mail the documents to you. In accordance with FERC regulations, you will be charged for copies and postage. Documents Containing Critical Energy Infrastructure Information Due to security reasons, documents containing critical energy infrastructure information will not be available at the Public Reference Room. These documents will only be available at Alcoa-Yadkin’s administrative offices in Badin, by appointment. You will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement before viewing confidential documents. Documents containing critical energy infrastructure information will not be available for reproduction.
