The Yadkin Project is comprised of four hydroelectric stations, dams and reservoirs along a 38-mile stretch of the Yadkin River in central North Carolina.  The four reservoirs are High Rock, Tuckertown, Narrows (Badin Lake) and Falls. 
 
The operation of the Yadkin Project is guided by a license issued by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.  The current license expires in April 2008, and Alcoa is seeking to relicense the project.  Read more on the relicensing process.
